Adding a user
Adding a user has slightly different methods depending on if you are using the desktop or mobile version of Wisly.
On desktop
- Go to the Portfolio Page for the Portfolio you are trying to add users to
- Click on the Collaborators tab from the horizontal Portfolio Menu
- Click on "Add collaborators" on the right hand side of the page
- A new pop-up will open, where you can select the user to add from a dropdown or input an email to invite a user outside your Organization. You can also select their role in the Portfolio.
On mobile
- Go to the Portfolio Page for the Portfolio you are trying to add users to
- Click on the Settings tab from the horizontal Portfolio Menu
- Click on the Collaborators line
- On the new page, click on "Add" on the top right part of the page header
- A new pop-up will open, where you can select the user to add from a dropdown or input an email to invite a user outside your Organization. You can also select their role in the Portfolio.
Deleting a user
Deleting a user also slight differences in desktop and mobile versions.
On desktop
- Go to the Portfolio Page for the Portfolio you are trying to add users to
- Click on the Settings tab from the horizontal Portfolio Menu
- Click on Collaborators submenu on the left hand side of the settings area
- You will there see all Managers and Observers in the portfolio. In order to switch between managers and observers you can use the links above the user list
- Each user has a delete icon at the end of their line. Clicking it will open a message to confirm deletion. Please read the important note at the end of this article to understand consequences of deleting users who have transactions in the portfolio.
On mobile
- Go to the Portfolio Page for the Portfolio you are trying to add users to
- Click on the Settings tab from the horizontal Portfolio Menu
- Click on Collaborators submenu on the left hand side of the settings area
- Click on the user you want to delete
- In the new window, there will be a "Delete" button on the top right on the screen. Tapping it will open a message to confirm deletion. Please read the important note at the end of this article to understand consequences of deleting users who have transactions in the portfolio
Important: When deleting a collaborator from a Multi-User portfolio, and that this user has input transactions you will need to decide what to do with these transactions:
- Transfer them to someone else - in which case only the ownership of the transaction changes but the wallets / exchange on which the coins are remain the same. You will need to manually transfer any coins if the wallet changes
- Delete the transactions - all wallet balances will also be deleted
- Do nothing - the user of the transactions remains the original user, but this user does not have access to the portfolio anymore
